LinkDM alternatives compared
The main alternatives to LinkDM are CreatorFlow, Zorcha, Inro and DMFast. Which one fits depends on what is pushing you away: branding on free-plan DMs, public comment replies locked to Pro, no AI replies in any of its plans, or the jump from $19 to $99 a month. DMFast publishes this page and appears in the list, labelled as ours.

Why people look beyond LinkDM
- Free-plan DMs carry LinkDM branding. Removing it from the DMs you send is a Pro feature, at $19 a month or $182 a year at the time of writing.
- The public reply under each comment (“Comment Auto-Reply”) is Pro-only too, so on Free the commenter gets a DM while the thread shows no answer.
- Collecting emails (“Lead Gen”), automatic replies to inbox messages (“Inbox Automation”), reminder DMs and the DM planner all start on Pro.
- Pro covers up to 3 Instagram accounts. A fourth means Platinum+ at $99 a month, because there is no plan in between.
- Its home and pricing pages don't mention AI-written replies, and LinkDM says it doesn't offer link-in-bio pages like Linktree, so a bio page means a second tool.

Best for: Instagram creators who want unlimited comment-to-DM automations and a follow check without paying, plus AI FAQ answers and a bio page in the same account.

DM automationIf you want AI to hold the conversation: Inro's agent answers from your site and price list and gathers lead details. It covers Instagram only, and Pro starts at €12.99 a month for 500 active contacts.

What LinkDM does well, and its limits
LinkDM
Best for: Creators and brands that send a lot of auto-DMs from Instagram and Facebook comments and Stories, from 1,000 a month free up to 300,000 on Platinum+.
Strengths
- Even the free plan covers post and Reel comments, Story replies, Story @mentions and Facebook comments, using a keyword or answering every comment.
- Pro adds replies to Instagram Live comments and to comments on sponsored posts, plus Rewind, which can backsend DMs to eligible comments.
- Platinum+ is the high-volume plan: 300,000 DMs a month across 10 accounts, with a rate limiter, a DM overflow queue and a slow-down mode.
- A certified Meta Business Partner since 2021 that uses the official Instagram APIs. It tracks clicks on links sent by DM and lists Kit and Flodesk integrations.
Limits
- DMs sent on the free plan carry LinkDM branding; removing it, and posting a public reply under each comment, both need Pro.
- Email capture, inbox automation and the DM planner all start on Pro at $19 a month.
- There is no plan between Pro at $19 a month and Platinum+ at $99 a month.
- Its home and pricing pages do not mention AI-written replies or a link-in-bio page.

When to stay with LinkDM
Stay if LinkDM's extras are part of how you work. Pro lists automations for Instagram Live comments and for comments on ads, plus lead forms that feed Kit and Flodesk. Platinum+ adds a DM overflow queue, a high-volume rate limiter and a direct chat with the LinkDM team, for up to 300,000 DMs a month across 10 accounts.
- Your email list lives in Kit or Flodesk. LinkDM's lead forms connect to both; DMFast gives you a CSV to import yourself.
- Free volume matters more to you than branding. LinkDM's free plan allows 1,000 DMs a month, where DMFast's free plan reaches 100 people.
- You paid for a year up front. Pro is $182 a year and Platinum+ $832, so finishing the term before moving may make sense.
- You want a tool with Meta credentials: LinkDM says it is a certified Instagram third-party developer and a Meta Business Partner.
When DMFast fits
DMFast does the core of LinkDM's job: a DM when someone comments on a post, Reel or Facebook Page post, and replies to Story replies and mentions. Once you pay, it costs less: Pro is $9 a month for 3 accounts with unlimited people and emails. Even on the free plan, DMs go out without DMFast branding; the badge appears only on the free bio page.
- The public reply under the comment is part of comment-to-DM on every plan, Free included.
- Email capture works on every plan, with 10 emails on Free and no limit on paid plans, and the list downloads as a CSV.
- AI replies, written only from the business details you supply, come with Growth at $14 a month.
- A link-in-bio page with tracked links is built in, so there is no separate bio tool to pay for.
- Facebook Pages also get keyword replies in Messenger. Story replies and “Only send to followers” are Instagram-only.
- In India, the Store sells digital products, lead magnets and 1-on-1 bookings from your bio page and DMs through Razorpay, with no DMFast fee on sales. It isn't available elsewhere.
Tip: LinkDM counts its limits in DMs sent and DMFast in people reached. Before comparing free plans, count how many messages your flow sends to each person.
How to switch from LinkDM
- List your live LinkDM automations: the post or Reel, the trigger keyword or “all comments”, the DM text and the link it sends.
- If Lead Gen synced to Kit or Flodesk, those emails are already there. Save anything else you need before you downgrade or cancel.
- Keep the same trigger words, so captions and Reels that already say “comment LINK” keep working after the move.
- Plan each flow in two steps: a plain-text opener that asks for a reply, then the link card once they answer. The first DM to a commenter can't carry links or buttons on Instagram or Messenger.
- Switch each LinkDM automation off before its DMFast version goes live. Running both means they compete for the one private reply a comment can get, and both may reply in public.

At the time of writing (6 October 2026), LinkDM is free for 1 Instagram account and 1,000 DMs a month. Pro is $19 a month or $182 a year for 25,000 DMs and 3 accounts; Platinum+ is $99 a month or $832 a year for 300,000 DMs and 10 accounts.

Paying yearly narrows the gap a little: LinkDM Pro works out to about $15.17 a month at $182 a year, and Platinum+ to about $69.33 a month at $832.
Questions people ask
Is there a free LinkDM alternative without branding in the DMs?
DMFast's free plan sends DMs with no DMFast branding; its badge only shows on the free link-in-bio page. The trade-off is volume: Free covers 100 people a month, while LinkDM's free plan allows 1,000 DMs.
Does LinkDM write replies with AI?
Not that its home or pricing pages mention at the time of writing; its automations send the messages you write. For AI answers, look at Inro's AI agent, Zorcha's answers from your own FAQs, or DMFast's Growth plan.
Which LinkDM alternative handles Facebook too?
DMFast answers Facebook Page comments with a Messenger DM and replies to Messenger keywords. CreatorFlow and Inro describe Instagram only on their own sites.
Is there an equivalent of LinkDM's Rewind?
LinkDM describes Rewind, a Pro feature, as backsending DMs to eligible comments. DMFast's Pro plan can also reply to older comments. Both are bound by Meta's rule that a private reply must come within 7 days of the comment.
Do I lose my DM history if I leave LinkDM?
No. Conversations sit in your Instagram inbox, not in the tool, so they stay put. What you leave behind is the tool's own data: automation settings, click stats and any leads you haven't exported.
