SendPulse alternatives for Instagram and Messenger
If your SendPulse bots only run on Instagram or Facebook, a comment-to-DM tool such as LinkDM, Zorcha or DMFast (ours) covers comments, Stories and DMs with less to set up. If you need WhatsApp too, Chatfuel and respond.io are the closer swaps. Stay with SendPulse when one builder across seven channels is the point.
DMFast publishes this page and is one of the options on it, labelled as ours. Facts about the other products come from their own websites, checked on 6 October 2026.
Why people look beyond SendPulse chatbots
- The free plan stops at 500 subscribers and 10,000 messages a month across all bots, with 10 triggers and 10 variables.
- Pro has no fixed price. It is set by subscriber count, so the bill rises as your audience grows.
- Payments in the chat, the ChatGPT integration and webhooks are listed on Pro, and the free plan has only a limited API.
- It is a general bot builder for seven channels. If all you want is a DM for each keyword comment on Instagram, you still set up flows, triggers and variables to get there.

What SendPulse chatbots does well, and its limits
SendPulse chatbots
Best for: Businesses that run bots on several messaging apps at once and want comment replies, a follower check and in-chat payments from one no-code builder.
Strengths
- One builder covers seven channels: Instagram, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, TikTok and live chat. DMFast covers only Instagram and Facebook.
- On Instagram it answers post and Reel comments both in public and by DM, responds to Story mentions and reactions, and starts flows from keywords.
- A follower check can hold back a reward until someone follows the account, and the bot can gather emails and phone numbers along the way.
- Bots can show product cards with payment buttons and take payments inside the chat, and data can sync to a CRM or Google Sheets.
Limits
- The free plan stops at 500 subscribers and 10,000 messages a month across all bots, with 10 triggers and 10 variables.
- Pro has no single price: it is set by subscriber count, so the cost rises as the audience grows.
- Accepting payments, the ChatGPT integration and webhooks are listed on Pro, and the free plan has only a limited API.

When to stay with SendPulse
Stay if your customers write to you on more than Instagram and Facebook. One SendPulse builder covers Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, TikTok and live chat, and no comment-to-DM tool on this page replaces that.
- You sell inside the chat with product cards and payment buttons, which need Pro.
- Your bot already sends contacts to a CRM or Google Sheets.
- Your flows branch and store variables, and a comment tool would give you fewer building blocks.
When DMFast is the simpler choice
One disclosure before the comparison: DMFast is our product. It suits SendPulse users whose bots only ever ran on Instagram and Facebook. Instead of building a flow, you set an auto-reply per post, Story or DM keyword, and DMFast runs the exchange: a public reply under the comment, a plain-text DM asking for a reply, then the link card. Along with that:
- Flat pricing: paid plans set no limit on the people you reach, and Pro is $9 a month whatever the size of your audience.
- Link and promo-spam comments are skipped, and each person is answered once a day per auto-reply.
- Replies are paced under Instagram’s limit: DMFast stays below 700 private replies an hour, where Instagram allows 750.
- A link-in-bio page with tracked links, and an MCP server for working from ChatGPT or Claude.
What you give up: every channel except Instagram and Facebook, SendPulse’s CRM and Google Sheets syncing, and taking payments outside India, since the DMFast Store works only there.
Moving your bots from SendPulse
- Export your subscribers, with any emails and phone numbers the bot collected.
- Boil each flow down to its trigger and its goal: a comment keyword that sends a guide, a DM keyword that answers PRICE, a Story reply that shares a link.
- Disconnect Instagram and Facebook from SendPulse before you connect them to the new tool, so the two don’t answer the same messages.
- Recreate the follower check with “Only send to followers” on DMFast Pro, which works on Instagram only.
- Keep SendPulse for WhatsApp or Telegram if you still use them. The two can run side by side on different channels.
Tip: A new tool doesn’t open your subscriber list to a mass message. Meta’s official tools only let you message someone within 24 hours of their last message, so past subscribers hear from you again when they next write.
What SendPulse costs
At the time of writing, SendPulse’s chatbot pricing has two plans: Free, within the limits above, and Pro, which makes bots, messages and triggers unlimited. Pro’s price depends on your subscriber count, with 20% off for paying yearly, and WhatsApp messages carry their own charges, listed by country and message type.
DMFast’s paid plans stay the same whatever your audience: $9, $14 or $29 a month, with AI replies from $14 and 500 extra AI credits for $5.
Questions people ask
Can SendPulse send a DM when someone comments on Instagram?
Yes. It replies to comments on posts and Reels both publicly and by DM, responds to Story mentions and reactions, and can check that someone follows you before sending a reward.
Which SendPulse alternative works with WhatsApp?
Chatfuel and respond.io both cover WhatsApp alongside Instagram and Facebook. DMFast doesn’t work with WhatsApp, TikTok or Threads at all.
Can I run SendPulse and DMFast at the same time?
Yes, on different channels: SendPulse for WhatsApp or Telegram, DMFast for Instagram and Facebook. Avoid running both on the same Instagram account, or the two will try to answer the same comments.
Is SendPulse cheaper than DMFast?
On free plans SendPulse allows more: 500 subscribers and 10,000 messages a month, against DMFast’s 100 people a month. On paid plans it depends on audience size, because SendPulse Pro is priced by subscribers while DMFast’s prices are fixed.
