DMFast vs Inro
Inro and DMFast cover much of the same ground: both send a DM when someone comments a keyword, answer Story replies and connect to ChatGPT and Claude through an MCP server. They part ways on platforms and pricing. Inro is an Instagram tool that prices Pro by active contacts, from €12.99 a month for 500, while DMFast also works with Facebook Pages and its $9 Pro plan has no people limit.
DMFast publishes this page and is one of the two products compared. Facts about Inro come from its own pages, read on 6 October 2026.

Our verdict
Inro is the better pick if you want to try an AI agent without paying (its free plan includes 50 credits), need up to 10 teammates on Pro, or rely on Shopify, Stripe or Calendly. DMFast fits better if you also run a Facebook Page or want a flat monthly price as comment volume grows, and Indian sellers get its Store for digital products and bookings.

- The AI agent is trained on your website, offers and price list, can copy the tone of your past conversations and hands over to a person when it matters.

Limits
- The Free plan is capped at 3 active automations, 3 campaigns a month and 1 team member.

Active contacts versus people a month
The two count usage differently, so compare them at your own numbers. Inro (written Inrō on its own site) bills by active contacts: a contact becomes active in a month when any campaign, segmentation, data enrichment or automation touches them. The free plan includes 100 a month. Pro starts at €12.99 a month for 500 and scales as more contacts become active, with 30% off when paid yearly and a 14-day trial. Managed accounts start at €299 a month on fixed, custom pricing.
DMFast counts people an auto-reply starts a conversation with, once each per calendar month however many messages follow. Free covers 100 people a month. Pro ($9), Growth ($14) and Business ($29) have no people limit, so the plan, not the size of your audience, sets the price. Inro prices in euros and DMFast in US dollars.

Setting up a comment automation
Inro starts you from templates: copy one, change the keyword, go live, and its site says most people are running within five minutes. For anything custom there is a visual builder where you draw lines between message bubbles to make a flow. An automation can start from a keyword comment such as “link” or “info”, a Story reply, a mention, an incoming DM or an ad, and the DM it sends can carry a link, an offer, a question or a voice note.
DMFast’s set-up asks for four things on one screen: which post or Reel, the comment word, the reply shown publicly and the opening message. That opening message is text only and invites an answer; links, buttons and product cards follow once the person writes back. On Pro, two optional switches add a follow check before the link and a single reminder for anyone who goes quiet.
What happens at the monthly limit
Inro’s pricing FAQ is direct about it: you get a notice at 80% of your monthly quota, and once you pass the maximum, all activations pause until you add contacts to your plan or the month resets. On the free plan, one busy Reel can use up the 100 contacts in a day, and later commenters get no DM until you upgrade or the month turns over.
DMFast’s free plan also tops out at 100 people a calendar month. On its paid plans there is no people limit, and the pace is set by Meta instead: Instagram allows 750 private replies to comments an hour per account, and DMFast stays under 700, queuing the rest so they still go out within the 7 days Meta allows for a private reply.
Tip: Inro’s Pro plan lists Live comments. With any tool, Meta only lets comments made during an Instagram Live be answered while the Live is still running, so set that automation up before you go live.
Inro’s AI agent and DMFast’s AI replies
Inro’s agent is trained on your website, offers and price list. It can copy the tone of your past conversations, with style rules and example replies on top, and it pulls you in when a conversation needs a person. During a chat it can ask for an email, phone number or any field you define and save it to the contact. Fifty AI agent credits come with the free plan, so you can try it before paying.
DMFast’s AI replies come with Growth ($14) and Business ($29). They’re written only from the details you add about your business, each reply costs one credit, and the plans include 1,000 or 2,500 credits a month; 500 extra cost $5. When credits run out, keyword auto-replies keep working and only the AI answers pause.
Tip: Before paying for AI on either, read the last 30 questions people sent you. If most of them fit a few keywords, such as PRICE or SIZE, keyword auto-replies may cover them without any AI.
Platforms, connections and selling
Inro’s home and pricing pages mention only Instagram. DMFast works with Instagram Business and Creator accounts and with Facebook Pages, where Page comments and Messenger messages get the same auto-replies; Story replies and the follow check stay on Instagram, because Facebook doesn’t share who follows a Page. If a Facebook Page brings you customers too, that alone may settle it.
Inro lists more ready-made connections, including Shopify, Calendly, Stripe, Make.com and Zapier, and its Pro plan adds payments in DMs and Instagram content management. DMFast’s selling tool is its Store, for digital products, lead magnets and 1-on-1 bookings, which works in India only, through Razorpay. Outside India, a seller who wants payment taken inside the chat has the clearer route with Inro.
Both run an MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude. Inro describes its own as a way to run your Instagram from those assistants; DMFast’s lets you use your DMFast account from the same two.
Questions people ask
What does Inro’s free plan include?
100 active contacts a month, 3 active automations, 3 campaigns a month, one team member and 50 AI agent credits, and Pro can be tried free for 14 days. DMFast’s free plan has no time limit and covers one account and 100 people a month, without AI replies.
Does Inro work with Facebook Pages?
At the time of writing, Inro’s home and pricing pages describe an Instagram tool and don’t mention Facebook, Messenger or WhatsApp. DMFast works with Facebook Pages as well as Instagram professional accounts, but not with WhatsApp.
What counts as an active contact on Inro?
Anyone a campaign, segmentation, data enrichment or automation touches in a month. You pay only for contacts activated that month, Inro warns you at 80% of the quota, and if you go over, activations pause until you add contacts or the month resets.
Which suits a team better?
Inro, on seats: Pro allows up to 10 team members from €12.99 a month, and Managed accounts add unlimited members with role-based access. DMFast has team seats only on Business, with 5 seats and 10 accounts for $29 a month.
Do I need a professional Instagram account for either?
Yes. Meta’s messaging API works only with Business and Creator accounts, so a personal account has to switch first, which is free in Instagram’s settings. Inro presents itself as an approved Meta Tech Provider, and DMFast is built on Meta’s official APIs.
