Questions, answered.
Will Instagram flag my account?
DMFast uses Instagram's official API, the way Meta-approved apps do. You log in with Instagram and we never see your password. We also follow Meta's messaging rules: one private reply per comment, and DMs only within 24 hours of someone's last message. No tool can promise zero risk if messages feel spammy, so keep your replies useful and expected.
Which Instagram accounts work?
Business and Creator accounts (Instagram calls them professional accounts). Switching is free in Instagram's settings and doesn't affect your followers.
Does it work with Facebook?
Yes, with Facebook Pages. Comments on your Page's posts and messages to your Page in Messenger get the same auto-replies, links, product carousels and email capture. Story replies and “Only send to followers” are Instagram-only, because Facebook doesn't share who follows a Page.
How many DMs can it send?
As many as your plan allows, at the pace Instagram and Facebook set: one reply per comment, up to 750 comment replies an hour per account (DMFast stays under it and queues the rest, which still go out within the 7 days Meta allows), and other messages only within 24 hours of someone's last message. Spam comments, links and repeat commenters are skipped, so bots don't use up your DMs.
Does it work on Reels and Stories?
Yes. It answers comments on posts and Reels, replies and mentions on your stories, and DMs that contain your keywords.
Why does the first DM ask them to reply?
Instagram and Messenger only allow plain text in the first message to someone who commented. Once they reply, DMFast can send the link card, product carousel, buttons and the rest of the conversation.
What does “Only send to followers” do?
Before sending your link, DMFast checks whether the person follows you. If not, it asks them to follow and tap a button, then checks again and sends the link.
Can I collect emails?
Yes. Turn on “Ask for their email first” and DMFast asks before sending the link. Every address is saved and can be downloaded as a CSV.
What is Research?
Look up any public Instagram account: followers, engagement rate, the posts that got the most comments, and the words it asks people to comment. One click turns a word into your own auto-reply. Free includes 10 look-ups a month, Pro 100; an account someone already looked up today doesn't count.
What counts as a “person” on the Free plan?
Someone an auto-reply starts a conversation with that month. Ten messages with the same person still count once. Free includes 100 people a month; paid plans have no limit.
How do AI credits work?
One AI-written reply uses one credit. Growth includes 1,000 credits a month and Business 2,500; they reset each month. Extra packs (500 for $5) never expire. If you run out, your keyword auto-replies keep working; only the AI answers pause.
Is there a free plan? Can I cancel?
There's a free plan with no time limit and no card needed. Paid plans are monthly and you can cancel any time from Plan & credits; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments.
Never miss a comment again.
