Inro alternatives for Instagram DMs
Zorcha, CreatorFlow, LinkDM and DMFast are the closest swaps for Inro, and each one fixes a different limit: only 3 active automations on the free plan, a Pro price that rises with active contacts, or no Facebook Pages. If Inro's AI agent is the reason you picked it, staying may be the better call.
DMFast publishes this page and is one of the options on it, labelled as ours. Facts about the other products come from their own websites, checked on 6 October 2026.
Why people look beyond Inro
- The free plan allows 3 active automations, 3 campaigns a month and 1 team member. A fourth keyword post means pausing an older one or moving to Pro.
- Pro is priced by active contacts: €12.99 a month covers 500, and the price climbs as your automations, campaigns and segments reach more people. One Reel that takes off can lift that month's bill.
- Inro describes itself as an Instagram DM tool. Neither its home page nor its pricing page mentions Facebook Pages or Messenger, so a business that also answers Facebook needs a second tool.
- Prices are set in euros, so anyone billed in dollars, pounds or rupees pays an amount that moves with the exchange rate.
- Custom integrations and a personal success manager come only with the Managed account plan, which starts at €299 a month.

What Inro does well, and its limits
Inro
Best for: Instagram creators and brands who want comment-to-DM and Story automations plus an AI agent that replies in their voice and gathers lead details.
Strengths
- Its MCP server lets you run your Instagram account from Claude or ChatGPT.
- The AI agent is trained on your website, offers and price list, can copy the tone of your past conversations and hands over to a person when it matters.
- During a chat the agent can collect email, phone, city, budget or any field you define, and save it to the contact.
- Connects to Shopify, Calendly, Stripe and Make.com out of the box, and to Zapier.
- Pro allows unlimited automations and up to 10 team members.
Limits
- The Free plan is capped at 3 active automations, 3 campaigns a month and 1 team member.
- Pro is priced by active contacts: €12.99 a month covers 500, and the price goes up as that number grows.
- Custom integrations are only on the Managed account plan, which starts at €299 a month.

When to stay with Inro
The AI agent is the strongest reason to stay. Inro trains it on your website, offers and price list, lets it take its tone from your past conversations, has it ask for fields such as email, phone, city or budget, and hands the chat to a person when it matters. The pricing page lists the agent as included on Pro, and the free plan comes with 50 AI agent credits.
- You sell on Shopify, take bookings through Calendly or take payments through Stripe. Inro connects to all three out of the box.
- Several people answer DMs. Pro allows up to 10 team members, where DMFast's Pro and Growth plans have one seat and Business has five.
- You go Live often. Inro lists automation for Live comments on Pro.
- You like to test messages. A/B tests and surveys are on every Inro plan.
Where DMFast fits
This page is published by DMFast, so read this part as our pitch and check it against the table above. Like Inro, DMFast does comment-to-DM and answers Story replies and mentions on Instagram; it also replies to DM keywords and adds Facebook Pages through Messenger. Paid plans are flat: Pro is $9 a month for 3 accounts and unlimited people, so a month when a Reel spreads costs the same as a quiet one.
- Facebook Pages get comment-to-DM and keyword replies too. Story replies and “Only send to followers” stay Instagram-only, because Facebook has neither.
- AI is not free on DMFast. Free and Pro have no AI replies; Growth does, at $14 a month with 1,000 credits, and it writes only from the business details you supply.
- Both products have an MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude, so that is no reason to move in either direction.
- Selling in DMs works differently. Inro lists payment processing in DMs on Pro; DMFast's Store (digital products, lead magnets and 1-on-1 bookings, with no DMFast fee on sales) works only in India, through Razorpay.
- A link-in-bio page with tracked links is included, so the link you send by DM and the one in your bio sit in one place.
Moving from Inro, step by step
- Write down each Inro automation: the post or Reel, the keyword, any Story reply rule and the full message sequence. Nothing carries over automatically, so this list is the plan.
- Copy out what your AI agent collected (emails, phone numbers, budgets) while the Inro account is open. Those fields live on Inro's contacts, and DMFast starts with none.
- If the agent answered from your site and price list, put the same facts into DMFast's business info. Its AI replies use only what you write there.
- Pause an Inro automation, then switch on its DMFast version. A comment can get only one private reply, so the first tool to answer takes it.
- Keep the opening DM to plain text that invites a reply, and send the link once they answer. That is Meta's rule for the first message to a commenter.
- For a post still drawing comments, DMFast's Pro plan can answer the ones left before the switch, as long as they are less than 7 days old.
What it costs at different sizes
At the time of writing (6 October 2026), Inro Free is €0 and Pro starts at €12.99 a month for 500 active contacts, with a 14-day trial and 30% off for paying yearly. DMFast charges in US dollars by plan, not by contacts. Here is how the two line up.
| Your month | Inro | DMFast |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 100 people, no AI | €0 on Free (3 automations, 3 campaigns) | $0 on Free |
| Up to 100 people, with AI | €0 on Free, with 50 AI agent credits | $14 on Growth |
| About 500 people, with AI | €12.99 on Pro | $14 on Growth, 1,000 AI credits |
| Several thousand people, no AI | Above €12.99, set by active contacts | $9 on Pro |
| A team of five | Pro (up to 10 team members), priced by contacts | $29 on Business (5 seats) |
Tip: Heavy AI use changes the sums. DMFast's Growth plan covers 1,000 AI replies a month and 500 more credits cost $5, while Inro lists its AI agent as included on Pro. If most of your DMs need an AI answer, price both on your real numbers.
Questions people ask
What counts as an active contact on Inro?
Inro counts a contact as active in a month when any automation, campaign, segmentation or data enrichment reaches them. Messages you type by hand don't count. That monthly number is what sets the Pro price.
Does Inro work with Facebook Pages?
Not according to its own site at the time of writing: the home page and pricing page cover Instagram only. LinkDM and DMFast both answer Facebook comments with a DM, and DMFast also replies to Messenger keywords.
Can DMFast's AI reply in my voice like Inro's agent?
Not in the same way. Inro says its agent can take its tone from your past conversations. DMFast's AI replies are written only from the business information you give it, so you shape them through what you write there, and they need the Growth or Business plan.
Will people notice that I changed tools?
Only if your messages change. Commenters see the public reply and the DM, not the software behind them. Keep the same keyword and a similar first message and the switch is invisible to them.
Is there a free Inro alternative without the 3-automation limit?
Zorcha's free plan lists unlimited automations, and CreatorFlow's allows unlimited automations within 500 DMs a month. DMFast's free plan limits people reached (100 a month) and emails collected (10), not the number of automations.
