Other apps

Cursor, VS Code and any app that supports MCP servers with sign-in.

Any app that can connect to a remote MCP server with OAuth works with DMFast. There's no API key: the app opens DMFast for you to log in and press Allow.

  • Server URL: https://dmfast.app/mcp
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP
  • Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; apps register themselves automatically

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project), then press Connect next to DMFast in Cursor's MCP settings.

mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "dmfast": {
      "url": "https://dmfast.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}

VS Code

Add this to .vscode/mcp.json in a project (or run MCP: Add Server from the command palette), then start the server and sign in when VS Code asks.

.vscode/mcp.json

{
  "servers": {
    "dmfast": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://dmfast.app/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Apps without remote servers

If an app can only start local (stdio) servers, the open-source mcp-remote bridge connects it, and handles the sign-in in your browser:

npx -y mcp-remote https://dmfast.app/mcp
