Events and webinars

Sell tickets to a webinar or a meetup: reminders, a QR check-in at the door, emails to everyone and the replay.

Sell tickets to a live event: a webinar or video call, or a meetup, class or workshop in person. Free events take registrations for an email. Everyone registered gets their ticket, reminders and, if you add one, the replay, without you sending a thing.

Make an event

  1. 1
On Store, press New product and choose An event.
  2. 2
Pick the date, time and your time zone, and how long it runs. Visitors see the time in their own time zone; emails spell out yours.
  3. 3
Online: add the join link (Zoom, Google Meet, YouTube Live…), now or later. Only people with a ticket see it. In person: add the venue and address.
  4. 4
Set the seats (or leave it empty for no limit) and the price. 0 makes it a free registration.

What attendees get

WhenWhat happens
They registerAn email with their ticket and a calendar file (with the join link for online events), and a ticket page with the date in their time zone, Google Calendar and .ics buttons.
A day beforeA reminder, with the join link or the address.
An hour beforeAnother reminder. Online, the ticket page's Join button is ready.
You change the time, place or join linkEveryone gets an email with the new details, and reminders go out again for a new time.
After the eventAdd the replay link to the event and everyone with a ticket gets it by email, once.
You refund themTheir ticket is cancelled and the seat is free again.
Seats are counted as people check out: someone paying holds a seat for 15 minutes, so the last seat can't be sold twice. People can register until the event ends, so latecomers can still join a webinar.

Attendees and check-in

Store → Attendees on an event lists everyone going, with their ticket codes, and lets you download them as a CSV. For events in person, each ticket has a QR code: scan it with your phone's camera at the door and it opens that ticket on this page, with a big Check in button. A ticket that was already used, refunded or is for another event says so. You can also search by name, email or ticket code and check people in from the list.

Email everyone

From the Attendees page, send everyone with a ticket a message (up to 5 a day per event): “Doors open at 6:30”, the slides, a change of room. Each email comes from you and links to that person's ticket.

Run it again

Duplicate on the Attendees page makes a copy a week later, hidden until you check the date and turn on Registration open.

AI apps connected over MCP can create events (create_event), see who's going (get_event) and add the join or replay link (update_event).
