Your first auto-reply

The classic: someone comments GUIDE on your reel, DMFast answers under their comment and DMs them your link. The form shows a phone preview of exactly what they'll see as you fill it in.

Set it up

1. 1
In the dashboard, press New auto-reply. Start blank, or from a template: Free guide, Follow to unlock, Grow your email list, Price list, Shop this post, Sell in the DM, Book a call, Story reply thank-you or Giveaway entry.
2. 2
When someone… comments on a post, replies to your story or sends you a DM (on a Facebook Page: comments on a Page post or messages your Page).
3. 3
Type the keyword, e.g. GUIDE. Capital letters don't matter. Under On which post? pick one post, or Any post.
4. 4
Optionally, Reply under their comment, so everyone sees you answered. Add a few versions and DMFast picks one at random each time, so the replies don't all look the same.
5. 5
Write what DMFast replies in the DM, then what to send them: a link on a card with a button, or a carousel of products (from any shop, or from your DMFast store).
6. 6
Add Extras if you like: Only send to followers (people who don't follow are asked to first), Ask for their email first (saved under Emails) and Send a reminder if they stop halfway.
7. 7
Name it (only you see the name) and press Turn on auto-reply. It works on new comments from that moment.

Test it

Comment the keyword on your post from a different Instagram account; DMFast ignores your own comments. The DM usually arrives within seconds. If nothing happens, check that the auto-reply is on and the keyword matches, then see Limits and spam: the same person gets an answer from each auto-reply at most once a day.

Older comments

Made the auto-reply after people had already commented? Reply to older comments (Pro) answers matching comments from the last 7 days, the furthest back Instagram allows a private reply.
