1-on-1 calls

Paid or free calls people book from your store, with Google Calendar.

A call is a store product people book: they pick a time on its page, pay (or book free), and both of you get the details by email.

Create a call

  1. 1
Open Store → New product and choose A 1-on-1 call.
  2. 2
Set the price (0 for a free call), the length (15 to 90 minutes), a break after each call, and how far ahead people must book.
  3. 3
Under How to join, add your Zoom link or how you'll call them, or turn on Add a Google Meet link to each call once Google Calendar is connected.
  4. 4
Save, then set your weekly hours and time zone under Calls on the Store page. Bookings open up to 30 days ahead.

How booking works

  • The booking page shows free times in the visitor's own time zone.
  • A paid call holds the time for 15 minutes while they pay; if they don't, it opens up again. Two people can never book the same time.
  • Once it's confirmed, the booker gets an email with the time in their time zone, how to join and a calendar invite, and you get a booking alert.
  • Both of you get a reminder about an hour before the call (unless it was booked less than two hours ahead).

Google Calendar

Under Calls → Google Calendar on the Store page, press Connect and allow DMFast to see when you're busy and to add events.

  • Busy times on your main calendar disappear from your booking pages.
  • Each booked call becomes an event on your calendar with the booker invited, and a Google Meet link if the call asks for one.
  • Cancelling a call removes the event, and Google lets the booker know.

DMFast only sees whether you're busy, not what your events are. Disconnect removes its access. See the privacy policy.

Cancelling

Upcoming calls are listed on the Store page. Cancel (or Cancel & refund for a paid call) frees the time, refunds a paid call in full and emails the booker a link to book another time.

Bookers can't reschedule or cancel by themselves yet; they can reply to their confirmation email, which goes to you.
