DMFast vs Stan Store

Stan Store is a store first: it sells your courses, bookings, memberships and digital products from your bio link, with Instagram AutoDM in the subscription from $29 a month and no free plan. DMFast starts from the conversation instead: it answers Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs, starts free, and has a smaller store that works in India only.

DMFast publishes this page and is one of the two products compared. Facts about Stan Store come from its own pages, read on 6 October 2026.

Our verdict

Stan Store is the better choice if you sell courses, memberships or a paid community and want the store and keyword DMs in one subscription: DMFast’s store has no format for those. DMFast fits if replying to comments and DMs is the main job, if you also answer a Facebook Page, or if you want a free plan rather than a 14-day trial.

Strengths and limits

DMFastOurs

Best for: Creators and small businesses that want Instagram and Facebook comments and DMs answered automatically, starting on a free plan.

Strengths

  • Sends a DM when someone comments a keyword on a post or Reel, and replies to Story replies, mentions and DM keywords.
  • Skips link and promo-spam comments, and answers each person once a day per auto-reply.
  • Collects emails in the chat with CSV export, and includes a link-in-bio page and tracked links.
  • Works from ChatGPT and Claude through its MCP server.
  • A free plan with no time limit, and paid plans from $9 a month.

Limits

  • Works only with Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages: no WhatsApp, TikTok, Threads or personal Instagram accounts.
  • The Store, for digital products, lead magnets and bookings, is India only, with payments through Razorpay.
  • AI replies need the Growth or Business plan and use 1 credit per reply.

Stan Store

Best for: Creators who sell digital products, courses or coaching from their bio and want keyword DMs on Instagram included in the same subscription as their store.

Strengths

  • One subscription covers the store, courses, bookings, memberships and AutoDM, and Stan says it takes no transaction fee beyond Stripe or PayPal processing.
  • AutoDM reports sent, opened, clicked and purchase counts for each keyword, and it tracks clicks on outside links as well as links to your store.
  • Keywords work on comments, DMs and Story replies, can be set for all posts or chosen ones, and are not case sensitive.
  • The Creator plan covers lead magnets, digital products, call bookings, courses, webinars, memberships and a free or paid community.

Limits

  • AutoDM has no multi-step flows or quizzes yet, according to its help page, and its pages describe Instagram only, not Facebook Pages.
  • Dynamic pricing, payment plans, pixel tracking and unlimited emails need Creator Pro at $99 a month, or $948 a year.
  • No free plan is listed: Creator costs $29 a month ($300 a year), with a 14-day free trial.
  • Its help page says to disconnect ManyChat or any other app that manages your Instagram DMs before AutoDM will work properly.
  • Turning on public “comment back” replies may raise the risk of being flagged as a bot by Meta, its help page warns, so it suggests varying the replies.

A store with DMs, or DMs with a store

The two start from opposite ends. Stan’s pages list unlimited digital products, courses, webinars, bookings, memberships and communities on your bio link, with AutoDM for Instagram included in the subscription. DMFast starts from the conversation: a comment or a DM keyword triggers a reply, and its store is one of the places that conversation can end. This is what each store sells.

Fees on salesNone from Stan beyond Stripe or PayPal processing, it saysNone from DMFast; Razorpay’s payment fee still applies
PaymentsProcessed by Stripe or PayPalIndia only, through Razorpay

If you teach a course, run a membership or charge for a community, Stan has those formats ready and DMFast’s store does not. If you sell downloads, lead magnets or calls from India, the two stores overlap, and DMFast takes no fee, though Razorpay’s payment fee still applies. Outside India, DMFast’s store is not an option, though a DMFast link card can still point people at your Stan page.

A year of each, and what the price covers

We found no pricing page on stan.store, so Stan’s prices here come from the pricing guide on its blog, published on 25 November 2025. We read it on 6 October 2026, when the figures were already more than ten months old, so they may have changed. At the time of writing, Creator costs $29 a month, or $300 a year billed annually, and Creator Pro costs $99 a month, or $948 a year. Creator Pro adds dynamic pricing, payment plans, pixel tracking and unlimited emails. Stan lists no free plan, only a 14-day free trial.

Twelve months ofCostWhat the plan covers
Stan Creator, billed annually$300Store, courses, bookings, memberships, communities and AutoDM
Stan Creator, month by month$348The same, at $29 a month
Stan Creator Pro, billed annually$948Creator plus dynamic pricing, payment plans, pixel tracking and unlimited emails
Stan Creator Pro, month by month$1,188The same, at $99 a month
DMFast Free$01 account, 100 people a month, 10 emails, 10 look-ups
DMFast Pro$1083 accounts, unlimited people and emails, follow gate, reminders, scheduled DMs, older comments
DMFast Growth$168Pro plus AI replies and 1,000 credits a month
DMFast Business$34810 accounts, 5 seats, 2,500 credits

These totals are not like for like. Stan’s price buys a store and its AutoDM together. DMFast’s plans price the automation, and its store, which works in India only, takes no fee on sales. Which total matters depends on whether you would use the store: if you would, Stan’s price covers it, and if you only want comments and DMs answered, DMFast’s plans price just that.

Tip: Whichever you try first, test one real keyword end to end: comment from a second account and check what arrives in the DM. Stan’s 14-day trial and DMFast’s Free plan both let you try that before paying.

AutoDM next to comment-to-DM

Both start with a keyword in a comment and end in a DM. We make DMFast, so Stan’s column below comes only from Stan’s own AutoDM blog post and help article, and DMFast’s from its own plans.

On quizzes and multi-step flows, Stan’s AutoDM help article, updated 15 July 2026, says AutoDM does not offer them yet. If you want to ask a few questions before you send an offer, that matters. DMFast follows set steps (comment word, plain-text first message, reply, then a link card or buttons), with an optional email ask, a follow gate and one reminder on Pro, and AI replies on Growth for questions that don’t fit a keyword. Whether those steps cover what you need is worth testing on the free plan.

The same help page warns that turning on public “comment back” replies may raise the risk of Meta flagging an account as a bot, and suggests varying them. That is sensible advice for any public reply, whichever tool posts it.

Using both on one account, or switching

Stan’s help page tells you to disconnect Manychat or any other app that manages your Instagram DMs before AutoDM will work properly. DMFast is one of those apps. So on a single Instagram account, treat the two as alternatives for DMs, or keep AutoDM off while DMFast answers. If you want both running, ask Stan’s support first. There are three routes.

  • Stan only. The store, courses and AutoDM sit under one plan, and AutoDM reports purchases for each keyword. Stan’s pages describe Instagram only, and there is no free plan to start on.
  • Stan as the shop, DMFast for DMs. Leave AutoDM off, let DMFast’s link card point to your Stan page, and use a tracked link so DMFast counts the clicks. The sale happens on Stan, which says it takes no transaction fee beyond Stripe or PayPal processing.
  • DMFast only, if you sell from India. Its store handles digital products, lead magnets and 1-on-1 bookings with no DMFast fee, though Razorpay’s payment fee applies. You would give up courses, memberships and communities.

To move keywords from AutoDM to DMFast, switch AutoDM off first, then rebuild each keyword as a comment word, a public reply and a first message. A comment can receive only one private reply, so two tools watching one post would race for it.

Platforms, countries and Meta’s limits

Stan’s AutoDM pages describe Instagram only. DMFast also covers Facebook Pages: Page comments and Messenger messages get the same keyword replies, while Story replies and the follow gate stay on Instagram because Facebook has neither. DMFast does not work with WhatsApp, TikTok, Threads or personal Instagram accounts.

Countries are the second split. DMFast’s store is for sellers in India and takes payments through Razorpay. We did not check which countries can sell on Stan, so look at Stan’s own site for yours before you choose it.

Meta’s ruleWhat it means in practice
One private reply per comment, within 7 daysA comment older than 7 days can no longer get a DM from either tool
Messages only within 24 hours of the person’s last oneFollow-ups have to land within a day of their last message; the human agent tag stretches this to 7 days, for support by real people only
750 private replies to comments per hour, per accountA Reel that takes off may be answered over several hours; DMFast stays under 700 an hour
Business and Creator accounts only, and no mass DMsA personal account has to switch first, and neither tool can message all your followers

Questions people ask

Does Stan Store have a free plan?

No. At the time of writing Stan lists Creator at $29 a month ($300 billed annually) and Creator Pro at $99 a month ($948 billed annually), with a 14-day free trial. Those figures come from a blog post dated 25 November 2025. DMFast has a free plan for 1 account and 100 people a month.

Does Stan Store take a cut of my sales?

Stan says it takes no transaction fee beyond Stripe or PayPal processing. DMFast’s store also takes no fee on sales, but it works in India only, through Razorpay, and Razorpay’s payment fee still applies. Confirm Stan’s current terms with Stan, since our figures come from a November 2025 post.

Can DMFast and Stan’s AutoDM run on the same Instagram account?

Stan’s help page says to disconnect Manychat or any other app that manages your Instagram DMs before AutoDM will work properly, and DMFast is such an app. Treat the two as alternatives for DMs on one account, or keep AutoDM off while DMFast answers, and ask Stan’s support before you try both.

Can Stan’s AutoDM run quizzes or multi-step flows?

Not yet, according to its help article, updated 15 July 2026. AutoDM answers keywords sent in comments, DMs and Story replies, and reports sent, opened, clicked and purchase counts for each keyword. DMFast follows set steps from comment word to link card, with AI replies on Growth for open questions.

Does Stan Store work with Facebook Pages?

Stan’s AutoDM pages describe Instagram only, not Facebook Pages. DMFast replies to comments on Facebook Page posts and to Messenger messages as well, but its Story replies and follow gate are Instagram features, since Facebook has no equivalent.

Where do the Stan Store figures on this page come from?

Prices come from the pricing guide on Stan’s blog (25 November 2025). AutoDM details come from its blog post of 14 January 2025, its help article and its home page, all read on 6 October 2026. DMFast makes the other product here, so confirm today’s plans in Stan’s own sign-up flow.
