Instagram auto-replies for Twitch streamers
A streamer's Instagram fills up with the same few questions between streams: when are you live, where is the Discord, what are your settings. Instagram DM automation answers each one the moment someone comments a word or replies to a Story, so the stream stays on live chat and the inbox looks after itself.

Comment words for Twitch streamers
Ask people to comment one word in your caption or video. Each word sends something different.
- SCHEDULE
- Your weekly stream times with a time-zone table for your biggest audience regions, plus a note when a night is cancelled.
- DISCORD
- The invite to your community server with the rules people must accept, the channels worth joining first and how roles work.
- SETTINGS
- Your controls, sensitivity and video settings for the game in a clip, as one sheet with the reason behind each choice.
- SETUP
- Your camera, microphone, capture and lighting, with a diagram of the desk and what each item cost to replace if it fails.
- GIVEAWAY
- The entry steps, closing time, eligible countries and rules for your current giveaway, so nobody enters by mistake.
- EMOTES
- A sheet of your channel emotes with what each one means in chat, for viewers who join in the middle of an in-joke.
- MOD
- What moderators do on your channel, the hours you need covered and the questions you ask before you trust someone with the tools.
4 set-ups to try
Each one shows the conversation it creates. After a comment, the first DM is plain text, as Meta requires, and the link follows once they answer.
Weekly schedule for people in other time zones

SCHEDULEPublic reply under their comment
Stream times are in your DMs, see you in chat 🎮First DM (plain text)
Thanks for stopping by. Do evenings or weekends work better for you? Reply and I'll send my weekly stream schedule, with the start times converted for the main time zones.Yes pleaseWeekly stream scheduleSee the timesA viewer in another part of the world can miss every stream because they read the schedule in the wrong time zone. The question gets them to reply, and the card carries a converted table, so a clip comment turns into a viewer on the right night.
Discord invite from a post-stream Story

DISCORDGlad you caught the stream. The community server has a rules channel you accept first, and it's friendly but busy. Ready to join? Reply yes and I'll send the invite.Join the community serverGet the inviteSomeone who replies to a Story after a stream is usually warm. A short heads-up about the rules keeps new members from arriving unaware, and the card follows straight away because they messaged you first. A fresh invite link also avoids an old, expired one.
Settings sheet from a highlight clip

That was a good clutch. Which part do you want, controls, sensitivity or video settings? Reply with one and I'll send the sheet, with the reasons for my choices.Yes pleaseMy full settings, with reasonsOpen the sheetHighlight clips pull in players who want to copy what you do. The question works as a filter and tells you which settings people care about, and the sheet gives a reason to follow you before the next stream.
Moderator applications by DM
MODThanks for offering to help. Which of my streams do you usually watch live, and what time zone are you in? Reply and I'll send what moderators do and how I choose them.Moderator guide and formRead the guideA busy channel needs moderators in the hours you stream, and the offers arrive by DM from people you only half know. The auto-reply gathers the time zone and watching habits first, but choosing a moderator stays your call.

What chat sends a streamer on Instagram
Viewers follow a streamer on Instagram to find out when the next stream is, then ask the same questions the live chat has already heard. Most have a fixed answer that doesn't change with the game. A few need you.
| They ask | Send automatically | Answer yourself when |
|---|---|---|
| What time do you go live? | The SCHEDULE card with the converted time table | You are off for a trip or the schedule changed this week |
| How do I join the Discord? | The DISCORD invite, after the rules question | Someone was banned and is appealing |
| What mouse and keyboard do you use? | The SETUP diagram with item names | They ask for a build recommendation on a set budget |
| Can I be a mod? | The MOD guide and the two questions | Always make the final choice yourself |
| Did I win the giveaway? | Nothing: send winners the prize message yourself | Always, and check the entry first |
| I'm struggling and your stream helps. Can we talk? | Nothing: this one is yours | Always, and be kind about what you can and cannot offer |
Posts and Stories that bring followers to the live channel
- A fifteen-second clip of the best moment of last night's stream, with SETTINGS or SCHEDULE in the caption. Add the game's name as text so searchers find it.
- A Story an hour before you start, with the stream title and DISCORD, so a viewer who can't join live has somewhere to go.
- A desk tour with SETUP, filmed with the lights on and the cables showing. Viewers trust a real one more than a clean one.
- A community highlight reel of viewer clips, with credit given in the caption, ending on GIVEAWAY for the next one.
- A post announcing that you need help in chat, with MOD, on the weeks you plan a long stream.
Tip: Keep one word per clip. If SCHEDULE sits under every post, you will answer people who simply say “what a schedule!” in a comment, so add the word to the single post it is meant for.
Using it around a stream day
- Before you go live: post the Story, with the stream title and DISCORD. Check that the SCHEDULE card still shows this week's times.
- During the stream: nothing runs from your live chat. DMFast only works with Instagram and Facebook, so mods stay in charge of the Twitch chat itself.
- Straight after: post the best clip as a Reel with SETTINGS, SETUP or the game's key word. Comments arrive over the next few hours.
- Next morning: look at what people asked, update the cards, and reply to anything personal yourself.
Young audiences, giveaways and other things to check
- Many viewers are under 18. Don't ask for a phone number or an email in an auto-reply on a channel that attracts younger viewers, and think twice before you list their ages anywhere.
- Giveaway rules differ by country, and every platform has its own promotion rules. State who can enter, when it closes, how the winner is picked and that it isn't run by the platform.
- Sponsored streams and affiliate codes have to be labelled on Instagram as well. The rules differ by country, so check yours before a clip carries a paid promotion.
- Don't promise what a subscription unlocks in a DM. Link to the page where the perks are listed, so the details stay right when they change.
- Meta allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days. Comments made during an Instagram Live can be answered only while the Live is still running.

Questions people ask
Can it answer people in my Twitch chat?
No. DMFast works with Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages. Chat commands and live replies on Twitch stay with your chat bot and your moderators, while DMFast handles comments, Story replies and DMs on Instagram.
Can the first DM include my Discord invite?
Not when someone comments, since Instagram allows plain text only in the first message to a commenter. Ask a question first. When the person replies, the card with the invite follows. For Story replies, the person has written first, so the card arrives straight away.
Will it message my followers when I go live?
No. Official tools can't send mass DMs, and automated messages only reach someone within 24 hours of their last message. Post a Story with a word and reply when you go live. Everyone who answers it gets the details.
Does it work on a gaming account with a personal profile?
No. It needs an Instagram Creator or Business account, which you can switch to for free in Instagram's settings without losing followers. Personal accounts have no access to the messaging tools at all.
Can I use it to sell merch or a guide?
In India, the DMFast store can sell a guide or a preset pack as a digital product, paid through Razorpay with no DMFast fee on sales. Elsewhere, send the card to your own shop page. Product carousels can also show items in a DM.
