Alternatives to hoo.be for links, shop picks and tips
The alternatives to hoo.be worth a look are Komi, Milkshake, Carrd and Linktree, and the right one depends on which cost you want to cut. At the time of writing, hoo.be’s seller fee is 9% on Free and 5% on Pro, and it reaches 0% only on Premium, the one plan with custom domains.
DMFast publishes this page and is one of the options on it, labelled as ours. Facts about the other products come from their own websites, checked on 6 October 2026.
Why people look beyond Hoo.be
- A platform seller fee comes off sales: 9% on Free and 5% on Pro at the time of writing. It falls to 0% only on Premium, at $29.99 a month.
- Custom domains are Premium only, so a branded address costs $29.99 a month. Carrd includes one in a $19-a-year plan.
- The free plan keeps hoo.be branding, allows up to 2 draft pages and only limited contact collection. Pro lifts those for $9.99 a month.
- One account holds one profile until Premium, which allows up to five, so managers looking after several creators pay the top price.
- Its pricing page lists nothing that answers Instagram comments or DMs, so sending a product link to a commenter is still done by hand or with another tool.

When to stay with hoo.be
Hoo.be suits creators who recommend products. Its blocks pull in items from Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and ShopMy next to your links, photo carousels and video embeds, the free plan has a tip jar, and payments connect through PayPal, Cash App, Venmo and Ko-fi. If your page is mostly product picks, that covers the core of what you need.
- You manage several creators. Premium covers up to five profiles, with custom domains and no seller fee.
- You rely on its short links, which use custom slugs and count clicks; Pro adds redirect links.
- You plan drops in advance. Pro can schedule pages to go live without you at the keyboard.
- You sell enough that Premium’s flat price beats the fee (see the table below).
When DMFast fits
We make DMFast, so this section isn’t neutral. Where it helps a hoo.be user is the moment someone writes “link?” under your Reel. Instead of pointing them to your bio, DMFast replies to the comment and sends a DM, and after they answer it can send a link card or a product carousel with several items.
Keep hoo.be for its shop blocks and tip jar if you use them; DMFast’s part is the conversation. It also has a link-in-bio page with tracked links, and its Store sells digital products, lead magnets and 1-on-1 bookings with no DMFast fee, but only in India, through Razorpay.
- It works with Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages, not personal Instagram accounts, WhatsApp or TikTok.
- On the free plan, the bio page carries a DMFast badge and replies reach up to 100 people a month.
- AI replies need Growth ($14 a month) or Business ($29), at one credit per reply.
How to switch from hoo.be
- Take screenshots of your page and list every block: links, product picks, carousels and embeds.
- Your product listings live on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy or ShopMy rather than on hoo.be, so copy those product URLs into the new page.
- Find everywhere you have shared a hoo.be short link, such as captions, Highlights and pinned comments. Those links run through hoo.be, so keep the account open while they still get clicks.
- Your PayPal, Cash App, Venmo and Ko-fi accounts are yours. Connect them to the new tool or link to them directly.
- Export the contacts you collected if your plan allows it. The pricing page doesn’t say how, so check your dashboard first.
- If you are on Premium with a custom domain, point it at the new host before you downgrade.
- Change the link in your bio.
What it costs
At the time of writing, hoo.be has three plans: Free at $0 with a 9% seller fee, Pro at $9.99 a month with 5%, and Premium at $29.99 a month with 0%. Which is cheapest depends on what you sell through it each month:
| Sales in a month | Free: 9% | Pro: $9.99 + 5% | Premium: $29.99, 0% |
|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | $9.00 | $14.99 | $29.99 |
| $300 | $27.00 | $24.99 | $29.99 |
| $500 | $45.00 | $34.99 | $29.99 |
| $1,000 | $90.00 | $59.99 | $29.99 |
Free is cheapest below about $250 of sales a month, Pro between $250 and $400, and Premium above $400. Payment providers’ own fees come on top in every column.
DMFast’s Pro plan is $9 a month, and Growth, which adds AI replies, is $14. If you sell outside India, you would keep selling through hoo.be or another shop and use DMFast for the DMs.
