Write to the limit, not past it. A Note stops at 60 characters with spaces and emoji counted, so cut the setup and keep the line someone would answer.
Replies to a Note land in your DMs as ordinary messages, so a question Note is an invitation to chat. Post one when you have time to answer that day.
Choose the audience on purpose. “Followers you follow back” means everyone you follow mutually; Close Friends is your shorter list. Plans and moods often belong with Close Friends.
Only you can see who liked or replied. If the same few names reply every time, write the next Note for them rather than for everyone.
A Note lasts 24 hours, so time it: plans in the morning, a late-night question after 10pm, a weekend question on Friday afternoon.

Can other people see who replied to my Note?
No. Only you can see who liked or replied to your Note. Replies are private messages, so nobody else sees what was said.
Why can’t I see someone’s Note?
Usually because you don’t both follow each other, or because they shared it with Close Friends and you aren’t on that list. A Note also disappears after 24 hours, or sooner if its owner deletes it.
