Instagram auto-replies for business coaches
Instagram DM automation lets a business coach send a pricing calculator, a workshop replay or a program application to everyone who comments or messages a word such as PRICING or APPLY. Many owners only get to Instagram once the day's work is done, and an instant answer keeps them interested until you or your team can talk properly.

Comment words for business coaches
Ask people to comment one word in your caption or video. Each word sends something different.
- PRICING
- A spreadsheet that works out a service price from your hours, costs and the income you need, with one example filled in.
- PROPOSAL
- The proposal template from your carousel: scope, timeline, three package options and payment terms.
- REPLAY
- The recording of your last free workshop, with the date it comes down written into the message.
- AUDIT
- A 20-question business check-up that scores sales, marketing, delivery and cash flow, and says what to fix first.
- NUMBERS
- A one-page weekly dashboard for leads, calls booked, sales and cash in the bank.
- APPLY
- The application for your mastermind or group program, with who it's for and who it isn't.
- VIP
- How your VIP day works: one full day on one problem, the price, and the dates still open this quarter.
4 set-ups to try
Each one shows the conversation it creates. After a comment, the first DM is plain text, as Meta requires, and the link follows once they answer.
Pricing calculator from a carousel

PRICINGPublic reply under their comment
Sent, the calculator is in your DMs 📊First DM (plain text)
Thanks for the comment. The calculator works out a price from your hours, your costs and the income you need, with an example already filled in. Want it? Reply here and I'll ask which email to send it to.Yes pleaseService pricing calculatorGet the calculatorPricing posts draw owners who are stuck on a problem you solve, which makes them warmer leads than a motivational quote does. The email lets you invite them to your next workshop weeks later, when Instagram no longer lets you message them first.
Workshop replay with a deadline
Someone comments on your post
REPLAYPublic reply under their comment
Replay's in your DMs, it's up until SundayFirst DM (plain text)
Sorry you missed it live. The replay runs about 50 minutes, and the pricing part starts roughly halfway. Want the link? Reply to this message and it's yours until Sunday night.Yes pleaseWorkshop replay, up until SundayWatch the replayA replay with an end date tends to get watched; one that stays up forever gets saved and forgotten. When it comes down, change the first message to offer the waitlist for the next workshop, so late commenters still get something useful.
Mastermind application by DM
APPLYThanks for your interest in the mastermind. A quick check first: it's built for owners who already have paying clients. Does that sound like you? The application is below, and I read every one myself.Mastermind applicationApply nowAn application lets you check fit before anyone books a sales call, which saves time on both sides. Add MASTERMIND to the same reply. As a comment word, attach APPLY to the launch post only: it's an everyday verb, and “this doesn't apply to my industry” under any other post would set it off.
Business check-up from a Friday Story

AUDITGood call. The check-up takes about 10 minutes and scores sales, marketing, delivery and cash flow. Once you've done it, which area came out lowest? Reply and tell me.20-question business check-upStart the check-upPeople who watch your Stories already know your style, so a self-assessment suits them better than a pitch. Their answer shows which of your offers fits before any call is booked, and because they wrote to you first, the link arrives straight away.

What owners ask before they buy coaching
Business owners ask practical questions, and many are comparing you with another coach or a course. Automate the answers that are the same for everyone, and keep the ones that depend on their business.
| Question | What the auto-reply sends | Take it over when |
|---|---|---|
| Is this right for my kind of business? | APPLY, with who it's for and who it isn't | They describe their business in detail |
| How much is the mastermind? | The price and what's included, on the application page | They ask for a payment plan or a discount |
| What results do your clients get? | Nothing automatic | Always: answer carefully, with typical examples rather than your best case |
| Is there a replay? | REPLAY, with the date it comes down | It has expired and they're a past client |
| Do you work 1:1 or only in groups? | A page comparing your VIP day, 1:1 and group options | They want a custom arrangement |
| What's your refund policy? | Your written policy | Someone is unhappy partway through |
Tip: If a setter or assistant works your DMs, the Business plan includes five seats, so they can pick up the conversations automation starts. Agree in advance what they may offer: a discount a setter gives in a DM is still your offer.
Posts that bring owners into your DMs
- A pricing teardown: one common way service businesses undercharge, worked through with numbers, ending with PRICING.
- Your real proposal as a carousel, client details removed, with PROPOSAL for the template.
- A Reel on the four numbers you'd check every Monday, with NUMBERS for the dashboard.
- A Friday Story with a quiz sticker about cash flow, followed by “reply AUDIT”.
- The best ten minutes of a free workshop cut into a Reel, with REPLAY.
- A day inside your mastermind, filmed with the members' consent, with APPLY in the caption while applications are open.
Many owners plan around the turn of the year, and again as a new tax year begins, which is April in India and the UK. If you run launches, have APPLY and VIP ready on the day you announce, and switch them off when applications close so late commenters aren't sent to a closed form.
From comment to strategy call, with a person in the loop
- Free resources start the conversation: PRICING, PROPOSAL, NUMBERS or AUDIT, each with email capture on.
- Your emails and the next free workshop build trust over weeks, outside Instagram.
- APPLY sends the application. You or your team read each one and invite the right people to a call.
- Tracked links show how many people opened each card, so you can compare the calculator with the replay and drop the freebie nobody uses.
- The sales call and the contract stay human. The automation's job ends once a time is booked.
Before a strategy call, DMFast's Research can look up the prospect's public Instagram account: bio, follower count and recent posts with their likes and comments. It's a quicker way to prepare than scrolling their grid.
Selling from India? The DMFast store handles templates and recorded workshops as digital products, gives away a lead magnet for an email and, optionally, a phone number, and takes paid bookings for VIP days or strategy calls through Razorpay, with no DMFast fee on sales.
Income claims, spam bots and launch-day limits
- Earnings claims. “My clients hit 10k months” is advertising. In the US, the Federal Trade Commission expects claims about what people earn to be true, backed by evidence and not misleading about typical results, and other countries have similar rules. Keep figures out of auto-replies unless you can back them up.
- Testimonials. Get written permission, and don't present your best client's result as the usual one.
- Spam bots. Comment sections under money posts attract accounts that tag someone and promise returns. DMFast skips comments that pair a tag with words like “invest” or “earn $”, and comments containing links, so bots don't collect your freebies.
- Volume. Instagram caps private replies to comments at 750 an hour per account. DMFast stays under 700 and queues the rest, so a busy launch post gets answered in order.
- Messaging windows. Automated messages can only reach someone within 24 hours of their last message, and Meta's API doesn't allow bulk DMs to followers. Doors-open announcements belong in email and Stories.

Questions people ask
Can DMFast qualify leads before a sales call?
Partly. It can collect an email, send your application and, with AI replies on the Growth or Business plan, answer common questions from the business information you write. It doesn't score or reject anyone: you read the applications and choose who gets a call.
Can one reply show all my offers?
Yes. Instead of a single card, a product carousel shows up to ten offers side by side, each with its own photo, price and button. It suits a DM word like OFFERS, where people want to compare your VIP day, 1:1 coaching and group program.
Can I message everyone who watched my free workshop?
Not through Instagram. Automated DMs can't reach anyone more than 24 hours after their last message, and the official API has no way to message all your followers. Ask for an email when people request the replay, and post a Story with a reply word on doors-open day: everyone who answers it gets the link at once.
Can I use DMFast from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. DMFast has an MCP server, so you can work with it from ChatGPT or Claude as well as from its own dashboard. That suits coaches who already plan their content in one of those tools.
Is comment-to-DM allowed on Instagram?
Yes, when it runs through Meta's official APIs, which is how DMFast works. The rules are Meta's: one private reply per comment, sent within 7 days, and a professional Instagram account or a Facebook Page. DMFast isn't affiliated with Meta.
