Tips before you post

  1. Shoot the skyline early or late. Midday sun here is bright and flat, and the haze can wash out buildings, so golden hour and the first light after sunset give the strongest photos.

  2. Keep your phone out of the sun between shots. In the desert and on rooftops, a hot phone can dim its screen or pause the camera, and a shaded pocket helps.

  3. Dress for the place you are standing in. Many malls, mosques and public buildings expect covered shoulders and knees, so check the guidance for each before you pose for a photo.

  4. Ask before photographing other people, especially women and families, and read signs about where photography is not allowed. Some government buildings and security areas restrict it.

  5. Tag the restaurant, the rooftop or the desert tour you booked. It helps followers find them, and small operators often reshare.

Ask people to comment DUBAI

End your caption with a line like this:

“Comment DUBAI and I'll send it to you in a DM.”

What they get

my 3-day Dubai plan: the order I'd visit things in, where to eat, what to book ahead and what to skip.

DMFast answers each comment and sends the DM for you. The first message asks them to reply, then the link follows, because Instagram allows no links in that first message.

Questions people ask

What is a good caption for a Dubai photo?

Describe what the photo shows in plain words: the heat, the height of the tower, the dune drive, the food on the table. A small honest detail sounds better than a general line about luxury.

What are the best things to photograph in Dubai?

Skyline views at sunrise or sunset, the desert at dusk, the marina, market stalls and your meals tend to make good photos. A person in the frame for scale helps with tall buildings.

Can I take photos anywhere in Dubai?

Not everywhere. Some buildings and areas have rules about photography, and people may not want to be in your shot. Look for signs, follow staff instructions and ask before photographing others.

When should I post my Dubai photos?

Some people post as they go, and others wait until they are home. If your account is public and your home will be empty, waiting a few days is a sensible choice.
