Start with what the page has to do

There is no single best link in bio tool, because the job changes. If you only need a tidy list of links, almost every tool below does it free. If the page has to take money, the fee on each sale matters more than the monthly price. If you answer Instagram comments with a link, the page matters less than the tool that sends it. Pick the job first, then the tool.

A disclosure before the list: DMFast publishes this post, and DMFast is one of the tools in it. It is labelled “ours”, it is never listed first, and its limits are stated like everyone else’s. Everything said here about other products comes from their own pricing and help pages, as recorded on 6 October 2026. Plans and fees change often, so open the current page before you pay anyone.

Pages that also sell, and what each sale costs

Many link in bio tools now sell digital products, and this is where the real price hides. A tool can be free to use and still keep a slice of every sale. The fee falls as you move up the plans, so work out which side of the line your sales put you on.

ToolCost as recordedFee on sales
BeaconsFree; Creator $10 a month; Creator Plus $30 a month9% on Free and Creator; 0% from Creator Plus
hoo.beFree; Pro $9.99; Premium $29.99 a month9% on Free, 5% on Pro, 0% on Premium
MilkshakeFree; Lite US$2.99 a month; Pro and Pro+ billed yearly12% on Free and Lite, 9% on Pro, 7% on Pro+, plus Stripe’s fee
KomiStarter free; Pro $16 a month0% on digital products on Pro; Starter’s fee is not stated on its pricing page
SuperProfileStarter free; Creator $29 a month ($4.99 for the first month)Its pricing page says 0% commission; selling needs Creator
TopmateNo monthly fee to sell10% on sales through your link, 20% through its marketplace
TaplinkBasic free; payments on BusinessNot recorded

Read the Milkshake row twice: its fee is on top of the payment processor’s fee, which is how most of these tools work. If a pricing page does not say whether the processor’s fee is separate, assume it is and ask before you rely on the numbers. Whether each of these can pay out to an Indian bank account, or accept UPI from your buyers, is not something the pages above settle, so test with a real small purchase before you promote a link.

A bio page that works with your Instagram automations

If your growth plan is “comment a word, get the link”, the bio page and the auto-DM tool are best in one account, so the link a bot sends and the page it lands on can be tracked together. Several tools bundle both.

  • SuperProfile: a link-in-bio store with Instagram AutoDMs. The free Starter plan runs unlimited AutoDMs on Reels and posts. Story, DM and Live auto-replies, up to five Instagram accounts and selling products, courses and bookings need Creator at $29 a month.
  • Zorcha: unlimited automations, DMs and contacts on the free plan, which also includes a link-in-bio page with templates, buttons and embeds. Collecting emails or phone numbers in DMs starts on Pro at $14.99 a month ($9.99 billed yearly).
  • Reachlee: a bio page and click tracking come with the free plan, which has 1,000 DMs a month and 100 contacts and carries Reachlee branding. Pro is $9 a month.
  • Topmate: your Topmate page is the single link for sessions, products and social links, and Instagram Auto DM is a separate subscription, from ₹399 a month.

Later sits at the other end: a scheduler whose Link in Bio tool is on every plan, with no free plan, only a 14-day trial. At the time of writing its cheapest plan is US$18.75 a month billed yearly. It makes sense if you already schedule posts there, and the pricing page lists no comment-to-DM replies.

A one-page site you design yourself: Carrd

Carrd is not a link in bio tool in the narrow sense. It builds a full one-page site from templates, and you decide the layout rather than filling in a preset list. Up to three sites are free. Paid plans are billed by the year, with custom domains, forms and widgets from $19 a year at the time of writing.

The trade is that payments are not built in. Taking money means embedding Stripe, PayPal or Gumroad widgets, which start at Pro Standard. Free sites also show a “Made with Carrd” footer. It suits someone who wants a cheap, good-looking page with a custom domain, and is happy to wire up payments by hand.

What to check before you pay, especially in India

  1. Find the fee on sales and the plan where it drops. For anyone selling, this number matters more than the subscription.
  2. Check the branding rule. Free plans on most of these tools put the vendor’s name on your page. Decide whether you mind that, and what removing it costs.
  3. Look at the billing currency. Most of the tools above list prices in dollars or euros; Topmate lists its Auto DM plans in rupees. Foreign-currency billing can add card charges you will not see on the pricing page.
  4. Do a test purchase on your own page with UPI and a card. Confirm the money reaches your bank account and see how long it takes.
  5. Find out how to leave. Can you export your contacts? Does the vendor let you point your own domain at the page?
  6. Open the page again in three months. Every record behind this post is dated, and tiers move.

Tip: Selling anything in India raises questions that no link in bio tool can answer for you: when GST applies and how the income is taxed. Our posts on GST and income tax for creators explain the basics, and a chartered accountant can answer your own case.

Questions people ask

Which link in bio tool is best for a beginner in India?

One with a free plan that you can leave. Linktree, Taplink, Komi, hoo.be and Milkshake all have one, as recorded on 6 October 2026. Start there, add the payment and automation tools only when a real need appears, and test any payment feature with a small purchase first.

Do I need a link in bio tool at all?

Not always. Instagram lets you put up to five links in your bio on its own, according to its Help Center. A tool helps when you want more than five, tracking, a sign-up form or a store. If most of your links go out in replies to comments, the automation tool matters more than the page.

Can I sell digital products from a link in bio page?

Yes, on tools that include a store: Beacons, Komi, hoo.be, Milkshake, SuperProfile, Topmate, Taplink Business and DMFast’s store for sellers in India. Each takes a share of sales, charges a subscription, or both, so compare the fee as well as the monthly price.

Is Linktree free?

Linktree has a free plan with unlimited basic links and email and phone sign-ups, as of its pricing page in October 2026. Its paid tiers add design, analytics, selling and Instagram tools. The tiers have been rearranged before, so check which feature you want sits on which plan.

Does DMFast replace my link in bio tool?

It can, if you only need a simple page and tracked links alongside Instagram or Facebook automation. It is not a free-form page builder and the store works only for sellers in India, so keep a separate tool if you want full design control.
